Bells Gym was formed back in 2013 by former amateur international, England captain and professional boxer Stevie Bell.
Stevie wanted to replicate the atmosphere and environment of a boxing gym without the spit and sawdust approach of many gyms around the country.
Boxing training is the best way to get fit, lose weight and combat stress whilst learning new skills and improving mental health.
Bells Gym is the only boutique boxing and fitness facility based in the heart of Altrincham, Cheshire and is dedicated to all our members in bringing the excitement and enjoyment of boxing training without the fear or intimidation of your average gym.
With over 40 unique boxing themed classes a month and 1-1 private boxing sessions to choose from, Bells is the perfect place to start your fitness journey.
Every member of our wonderful gym are quickly welcomed into the Bells Gym family, making classes a great workout and social event.

Whether you’re a seasoned gym goer or brand new to training, Bells classes are a great way to workout regardless of level.
All classes are designed to allow you to work at your own level and progress at your own pace.
Classes include circuit work, weight training, bag work, pad work and bodyweight exercises with the benefit of learning a new skill and improving weight loss, cardio vascular fitness, strength and endurance and most importantly a great way to improve your mental health.
Our Teen Boxcircuits is a perfect way for your child to learn the basics of boxing whilst improving confidence and discipline and is available for all 10-15 year olds.
Our adult classes are available for anyone over the age of 16 and are the best way to begin or enhance your fitness journey.

Meet The Team

Bells Gym was formed back in 2013 by former amateur international, England captain and professional boxer Stevie Bell.
Stevie started boxing at the age of 13 and quickly fell in love with the sport after developing new skills and building a friendship with his fellow team mates at Louvolite Amateur Boxing Club in Hyde, Cheshire.
Stevie’s ambition was to win a national A.B.A title and then push to compete for his country and gain a spot on the England Team.
At the age of 21, Stevie achieved his dream and won the Featherweight A.B.A National Title defeating all his opponents by stoppage and then was quickly called up to represent England soon after his title win.
Since then, Stevie has won 2 National Titles, represented England over 35 times including 2 World Championships, 2 Commonwealth Games and was selected to captain his country at the Manchester Commonwealth Games in 2002.
Turning Professional at the age of 27, Stevie went on to win a Super Featherweight Central Area title beating former British Champion Jamie McKeever and defeated unbeaten prospect and Manchester Commonwealth Games Gold medalist, Haider Ali.
In his career, Stevie has a combined record of 175 fights both amateur and professional.
He now offers his wealth of experience at Bells Gym, giving sound advice and a high standard of training to all his clients.

Former professional boxer Ryan Oliver, began his coaching at Bells back in 2014 and has gone from strength to strength building a great reputation and is a popular member of the Bells Gym team.
Ryan holds a professional boxing trainers licence and has a number of professional fighters on his books alongside his personal training clients from young, budding prospects to your experienced gym goer.

Matt has been a part of the Bells Gym team since 2018 and is an affiliated Hatton Academy boxing coach gaining numerous clients with highly skilled pad-work and fitness regime.
Matt also leads many of the Bells classes for members and is well respected for his high quality training and padwork.
